download fail, device full

I've been trying download GTA I cant use the consol it doesn't have enough space and I cant clear stuff so I used a USB but it gets like past 30 percent (not exactly) and it says device full I click change download and from system memory and USB isn't
on there but it is plugged in so you have to restart download after you restart the consol but I select USB to download to but it always changes to system memory and USB is not there I don't know what to do please help I want to play my game.

ah ok i suggest trying https://support.xbox.com/ they should be able to help as im not sure why it isnt installing if you have the space

sorry i didnt realise this was a 360 game, dont recall seeing on the post before. have you tried deleting the game before trying to reinstall? or if they isnt anything else of the usb try formatting it after cancelling the download and see if that will
let it install, how big is the usb your trying to install it on

it is the lowest memory system hard drive I cant even download a 5 GB game on it that is why I used the USB GTA v is 7.63 GB. I can't use the system memory there has to be some way I can get this to work if not I want a REFUND, it costs 19.99
and it is Xbox 360 edition. everything should be working.
