download error

I bought digital Jedi Knight: Jedi Academy on Xbox 360, but when I want to download it, it keeps showing me: "Jedi Academy cannot be downloaded". I've tried restarting console, I have much free space on disc, what should I do?

Anyone else havin a problem. Its accepting the code and displaying what its for but when i click to download i'm gettin an error message everytime with no specific error codes. ***!

 

Hi! What hard drive are you using? Does it show anything else besides "Jedi Academy cannot be downloaded" like an error code or more info?

 

It doesn't show anything else. I have 60 GB hard drive, original part from my X360.

 

I have the same problem with KOTOR 2. When the download hits 80%, it jumps to 100 and says "can't download KOTOR 2". I tried it again and the same thing happens.

The issue being experienced is understood.

It is best to try clearing the system cache, which can be done by

1. On your console, go to settings, and then select System.
   
2. Select Storage, and then select your storage device.
3. Select System Items.
4. Select Marketplace System Data.
5. Select Delete.
6. Clear your Xbox 360 system cache.
   
7. Restart your console.
8. Go back to Download History and try
   downloading the item again.

Try following this Xbox Live content won’t download on your Xbox 360 console article.

Please verify that the 360 console is fully up to date

Some original Xbox games are playable on Xbox 360 console if you have an official
Xbox 360 Hard Drive. If you're not able to play that game, you may not have the official 360 hard drive and you would have to purchase one.

We both have orginal hard drives, from Microsoft. This is an old problem but it is only occurring on the 360 but people on other forums say, on the one it works fine.

Also, I did see where others were having trouble downloading content. However, it is for different titles, not just for Jedi Knight. Are any of the other games having issues being downloaded onto the console? Aside from the hard drive, is there an External
hard drive plugged into the console?

No, there's no external hard drive. This is my first game that I'm downloading, earlier I've downloaded DLCs and everything was OK.

 

I've tried all these solutions You've sent, but none of them is working.

So since none of these troubleshooting steps are really helping, it could be a clue that your console is not updating the way that it is supposed to or it is having a hard time pulling the info from Xbox Live.

I would try to roll back your updates using Solution 7 (it's the fastest) on the page we have titled

Troubleshoot problems with an update to your Xbox 360 console and see how that helps with the issue.

I'd make sure to delete any game memory that did get installed if any first though.

Give the step a shot and let us know if you have the same experience.

This is not working. It downloades to 80%, then skips to 100% and "game cannot be downloaded". I've contacted with other people who bought star wars games from Xbox Live. They say that games like Battlefront 2 can only be downloaded on Xbox One and this
is a glitch that it is visible on the X360. I want a refund.
