    Hello,

    I was downloading Forza Horizon 5 but had to leave my house so I paused the download and shut down my computer, I should add that a Windows update was required before shut down. Upon return I booted up my pc to continue the last 20gb of the download but the download had gone form my Xbox app, I tried to start a fresh install and noticed that the drive I was installing on to (CDownload error Xbox PC app - Forza Horizon 5 :) has decreased in the size available, meaning that their is still data from my original install of Forza Horizon 5 but the xbox app is not picking it up.

    Also, when I try to install the game on to the same drive (CDownload error Xbox PC app - Forza Horizon 5 :) it doesn't go past the ''Preparing 0% View Progress'' stage and removes itself from the queue without the % increasing.

    I can't locate the files on my C: drive either to find out if a part install has occurred.

    Any help would be appreciated as my internet is slow and takes around 12 hours to download a game like Forza Horizon 5.

    Forza Horizon 5 Failed to launch and now can't install

    Created a new local admin account, launched the Xbox app, tried to download Forza Horizon 5, and still got the same error pictured in the screenshot.

    Forza Horizon 5 is not able to download to an external drive.

    All of my Microsoft and Xbox games are downloaded on my external drive including the previous Horizon, which is Forza Horizon 4. I changed where new apps are stored when downloaded from the Microsoft store to my external drive but it still wont download Forza Horizon 5 to my external drive. On the Xbox app it wont show my external drive as an option to download to. I am able to download any game from the Microsoft store and Xbox app to my external drive except Forza Horizon 5.

    Forza Horizon 5 will not install on PC. Error code. Microsoft store doesn't work either. Xbox app, doesn't work. Tried all options given from "fix here" nothing works.

    hey, when i download forza horizon 5 on my pc on the xbox app it says error when it reaches 100%. I have tried re installing the app, repairing it resetting it etc and i still encounter the same issue. Please help me as i have been waiting since november to play this game!

    Forza Horizon 5 gets stuck on preparing and then cancles - Windows 11

    This is what helped me and got Forza to download.
    1. Go into the Microsoft Store and search Forza Horizon 5 Standard Edition.
    2. Next you want to click on Forza Horizon 5 Standard Edition and you want to click Install from the Xbox app.
    3. This will take you to the Xbox app and when it takes you to the Forza game scroll down and look at the tab named "Included in this bundle" And click Forza Horizon 5.
    4. This should take you to the regular Forza Horizon 5 game rather than the Standard Edition, And then you want to click install and this should download the game.
