    Downgrade to silver


    I recently forgot to leave my money in my account for my xbox live gold membership, as i dont get paid for another two weeks is it possible to downgrade to silver till i get paid?

    I need to re-download a game and some dlc but it wont let me since i cant sign into live.

    Downgrade to Silver

    You have to pay off thr balance before you can downgrade or use the account offline

    Depending on the plan if it is 1month you cannot cancel

    If it is 3 minths or a year y ou would have to be within the first 30days but a suspension happens withing the 27st day so unless it just hapoened today there is no chance of canc eling

    You will have to honor the terrms of use

    If you have the automatic payment option then.
    support.xbox.com/.../cancel-xbox-live-gold-subscription . If your not using the automatic payment option, just wait until you get paid and buy another subscription card, or buy Xbox Live membership from the marketplace.

    If your LIVE membership isn't renewed it will automatically revert to Silver.

    If your account is set to auto renew but you have no money to pay, it will keep trying over a period of time to charge you. After a certain amount of time your account will end up with a billing suspension. If this happens you will only be able to resolve
    this by contacting phone support and paying the past due balance as well as whatever subscription you would like. You said that you couldn't sign into Live so it sounds to me like this is what has happened.

    I have an account to save games, but my wife plays with me on co op games but it womt let her save her progress. How do we set her up a silver account just to save instead of her playing as a guest (Borderlands: The Pre-Sequal)

    Yeah, the problem was that my account was in the negatives somehow. I contacted customer support and got everything fixed.

    Oh and ignore the puppy/orphan drowning bit. I was running on no sleep. THen I decided to stay up all night, work a double, come home and drink heavily.

    This was not a weekend of good choices.

    You will need to contact support and settle your billing issues. That is really your only option at this point.

    alright well that's a little violent but anyways if I remember correctly It should be giving you the option to downgrade when you select that you don't want to renew your account
