@Uncle Nob : No offense, you are one of the people I hate in this game... There are those who try to do missions etc, or even walk out of a store and are gunned down by people with the same mentality you have.

Shouldn't have to be forced to go into a private lobby... but that's what people have been forced to do now...

@Deaths head 200, the way I see is like this, if you cant beat them, join them. I got a friend that is kinda like that, he finds fun in killing people, but he wont kill anyone unless he gets killed first. and uncle nob is just another little kid isn't suppose
to be playing this game

in gta bro you have to be prepare for anything. I kinda look at gta5 like the apocalypse is happening in the real world. you have to be prepared and ready for anything to happen. good thing about the game is you have a map so you can see who is red and who
is not.

@Z4ZonE : True...but come on... Not even being able to take a step outside and BOOM! Head blown off by a damn sniper? GTA Online should be called Grand Theft Duty... the damn mentality of some of the playerbase.

Tried to get a helicopter from the Sightseeing tours helipad... and four firetrucks splashing the area with their water cannons, knocking the helicopters over so no one can use them. All I heard over the headset was "Nyuk, nyuk, nyuk... screw wit' em sum
mor... nyuk, nyuk, nyuk" ... believe it or not, that was a direct quote >.<

... and just then, I actually GOT a helicopter... was on top of the Maze Bank building and had to go afk... come back in time to see the screen go black and white and a message saying I was sniped... ffs

I was just going to make a thread about how it's more like CoD than GTA. I couldn't stay alive for more than a minute. I'd just rather play with friends because there's really no comparison. I have so much fun with a friend or two.

I don't really promote crews or anything like that, but if you don't want to deal with that kind of stuff, and you want to just play the game, chill, hang out, do some missions, etc, you need to talk to bad 2020. overall, Bad 2020 and his crew are the only
people that I know of that will not kill you accidentally over and over again, or purposely kill you to be a jerk about it, no loud people there (except me lol) everyone is cool. you should seriously check it out if you want to play the game, and not deal
with little kids

Almost 2 months from last post, and 1 year since release and still R* does not have heists. Hell, my friends and I couldn't even play missions yesterday, due to not having missions unlocked. Fix your [Mod removed] game R*!

.... It seems that whenever a game has microstransactions/RMT (Real Money Trade), a thread like this will ALWAYS appear... This 'debate' is nothing new Bag n Gra...

This same argument/debate happened in the Mass Effect 3 subforum here as well as on the BSN... where people spent real money to buy the weapon packs... and the RNG system in that messed them up big time (BAD 2020 knows what I'm talking about).

HOWEVER... if people weren't paying for the Weapon packs/Shark Cards... do you honestly think BioWare/Rockstar would be releasing "free" DLC? The DLC has been paid for in advance by those who paid real money for ingame content.

Personally, yeah... I have in the past paid for a few weapon packs in ME3 and yes, I have bought a 200k Shark Card... only because I had a surplus of $$$ in my account and there was no other DLC I wanted for my other games either. Why shouldn't I use it
how I see fit? If you don't like it, then I'm sorry... this business model won't change. Rockstar is in this business to make money, first and foremost. They don't answer to gamers... they answer to their stockholders, like any business does.

Only genre of game I do NOT support RMT though, is in MMO's. Final Fantasy XI Online's economy was fluctuating far too much due to RMT and Square Enix banned players guilty of it. GTA Online though, is far different than a MMO, so the same guideline doesn't
apply. If others want to spend money on ingame money... let them do it. It's their money they earned, they have a right to spend it however they want. If you don't like Rockstar for using microtransactions like this, then either A: Go to the official Rockstar
forums and complain there (and see how well received your rant will be) and/or B: Go play another game.

As much as I hate to say this, microtransactions are here to stay, and there's next to nothing anyone can do to change that. Deal with it and move on.

My point is that far too many people are taking the easy way by paying extra for it. By doing so YOU and all of the others are encouraging this method of business, even though the vast majority of gamers, possibly even you, don't agree with it.

R* is being lazy by force feeding everybody DLC, instead of making it optional with compatibility packs.

Honestly, would any of you paid $20 for any of the DLC we got? $15? $10? $5? $3?

R* knows they put out crap, and can get away with doing so because the sharktards keep buying.

I love Rockstar games. Almost everything you said is irrational. There are certain things in life that are worth getting fired up over, and this really doesn't seem to be one of them. If you are this disgusted with Rockstar, just sell your game and move
on with your life.
