    I haven't seen family in years and to game with them I have to pay mircrosoft? They have to be compensating for something with their prices

    yes they're compensating for the cost of the servers, the cost of maintaining and developing the software, and the cost of subsidizing your Xbox up to and including hundreds of dollars. If you were to buy an Xbox series X equivalent PC at retail it would cost well over $1000

    i paid for xbox and i paid for the internet so i should play online for free like those who are playing playstation if you calculate the amount you pay for gold membership per month you will find it worth 120$ .

    buy an xbox console, then pay for internet connection then pay for batteries or a charger once paid for that then pay for game, once paid for that then pay for gold membership to play multiplayer games which in some cases this game option is better than
    the game itself, once you had paid for all off that ooo yer there the extra's to pay for to complete the game or access to extra levels then once you finally pay for all that then boom...a good chance your console will brake down due to poor manufacturing...ps

    I don't think you understandthe DRM issue that Microsofthas brought back. If you don't have an Internet connection you can't play the games you have paid for. Simply unacceptable.

    For a full brake down I suggest checking out Modern Vintage Gamers video on YouTube. This is anti consumer and bad for game preservation. Plain and simple.
