    Double Payment on Digital Download of Game


    I went to purchase this game digitally so I could then play it on my Xbox One. I was using my old 360 to do so, so I could use my Xbox Live credit instead of using my bank card and I was going to then go back on to my Xbox One to download it from there.

    The first time I tried to purchase it digitally it took several minutes 'loading' time before an error message came up saying something like 'Unable to Xbox Live'. I thought that it might have been just my internet but everything seemed to be up and running
    and I tried again.

    On the bottom left corner when looking up games in the Xbox store on the 360 it tells you how much money you have left in your account and it was the same as before I tried to purchase them game digitally and when I tried a second time it went through without
    a problem but then I noticed that I had been credited for more than I should have been and I looked up on my Microsoft account on my laptop to double check and I had been charged twice for the game.

    Also, it was during the Black Friday Sale, if that's in any way relevant.

    It is indeed not there. I can show you a payment issue from my bank if you want.

    Edit: It is a digital purchase, sorry xD

    Hi Mike,

    Are you talking about a digital or physical purchase?

    If digital: It can be worth double checking your
    billing history     to see that payment did indeed leave your account. If it did, check the Ready to Install section in My Games & Apps; if State of Decay 2 is there, simply choose it to start the download.

    If this was a physical purchase, you would need to wait for delivery or contact your retailer, as appropriate.

    I forgot to mention, I had only received one confirmation purchase of this error, when I think that I might have gotten two confirmation emails as they seem to be considered different/seperate orders on Microsoft's system, according to my account history.

    I think people will always buy boxed games. Because everybody wants to wait for everything to download. The game is installed over the drive and then only the update is downloaded. There is a double wait in the digital game.
