Double Dragon doesn't redownload the full version.

Hi, not sure if this is the right place to post this, but with the up coming backwards compatibility I was looking through my old digital games, when the 360 first came out, I used the old Microsoft points card you could by from Game and the like to purchase
Missile Command, TMNT and Double Dragon, I redownloaded them (I had to buy a new 360) they all downloaded without issue bar Double Dragon it keeps saying its the demo version and to upgrade to the full version(even though it should been the full version in
the download) but its no longer on the Market Place?

Any way to get game back to being the full version?

Delete the game and redownload it without updating as this will give you the full version of the updated game

So you actually own the full version of the game but when you are offline it tells you to download the full game and it acts like the trial version?

If so, delete the game, clear your cache and redownload it.

 

Make sure you're redownloading it from your download history and not the marketplace -

support.xbox.com/.../redownload-content

If it's still only downloading the trial, then the full game may have completely been removed from the servers so it would no longer be possible to download it. That does happen in rare cases.

The link below shows Double Dragon II and Double Dragon Neon (at least in Canada it does).

This suggests that the game you purchased is no longer available on the Marketplace and, as such, is no longer available to download. If you still had the game on your hard drive and needed to move the license to a new console you could do that but, since
the game has been removed, it is no longer there to do a full download.

 

Hi, after downloading it 50 odd times I was about to give up, then I checked that I transferred the license and redownloaded it and it was the full version again.

When I bought the new 360 I'm sure I did do that but I guess not

Glad it worked out. That's odd thoguh because if you bought it on your account, you shouldn't have to do a license transfer. Oh well. Either way it works.
