    Double dragon and backwards compatibility??


    I see that Double dragon has been listed on Xbox one, however I own the arcade version on my 360 But for some reason it’s not letting me download it, nor shows up on my backwards compatibility.. so is there an issue cause the arcade version I have has
    all the smoothing abilities already as listed ,so the version I have is the definitive version just as they advise on the Microsoft store they just released. I mean my final fight was on there when it became backward compatible, also I’d like to know when
    my arcade version of teenage mutant ninja turtles will be available and also when will my street fighter 2 hyper fighting I bought through arcade be available since it’s on the 30th anniversary it should have automatically updated as backwards compatible.right??

    It would be nice to see this game come back, Hopefully when the back compatible program starts back up it might come back.

    Hi,

    This Double Dragon is (ironically enough) the NES version. Just look at the graphics.

    Unfortunately the Double Dragon released on the 360 will never be BC for the Xbox One as the publisher no longer exists. Therefore its licence is in a kind of digital limbo.

    It's a shame as it was excellent.

    As for Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Konami's licence to the game has expired, they didn't renew it, so it was de-listed. It too won't be BC either.

    There are no legal issues with Street Fighter, it's ultimately up to Capcom whether this is ever a BC title

    It's not backwards compatible. Only Dragon Age Origins and Dragon Age 2 are backwards compatible. You have to get the Xbox One version to play the game.
