    Double charge refund request denied


    A month ago, I bought Minecraft for my daughter online.

    My bank account was charged twice.

    2 days after the purchase I sent the first Refund request via Xbox.com

    It was denied. No explanation. Same thing the 2nd time.

    Now, after I sent the 3rd refund request they it is past the time limit for the refund.

    I have paid for the product. I just Microsoft to return money that doesn't belong to them.

    I have the bank statements to prove it which, by the way, they never asked for.

    I don't know what to do.

    That's definately strange that support said that they couldn't refund you for a double charge.

    Did you try requesting a refund threw this 'Request refund' Xbox Support link?

    Charged twice

    Xbox live purchases often give a payment error, so you try again only to find out the first attempt did NOT error, but the charge was valid. So... this happened to me and I called support and they denied my refund request because I had two refund requests in the past. Ive been on xbox live 14 yrs and 2 refund requests disqualifes me from being refunded for an Xbox error?? This "error" issue on xbox live purchases has been ongoing and appears to be a double payment trap. Beware!! Check to see if you were charged before trying again when you get an error at payment

    Hello Josh, I'm sorry about what's going on, however after you've had your request denied you requested a refund for the other purchase you made of the game?

    By its description were two separate purchases, not a purchase that had a double charge.

    I ask this because all refund requests are made by the form you filled out, in which case Xbox support can't help you.

    I'm being charged for Minecraft Realms, but my microsoft account says I have no subscriptions.

    Sorry to reply a couple of months later, but I was wondering how the refund request went for you? I had the same exact problem and also requested a refund, but they only approved the last time I was charged and denied the two charges before that when the realm had already stopped working, and I had already made sure the subscription was cancelled (but continued to get charged anyways). Thanks.
