    Double Button Mapping on Peripherals


    Fix double mapping issues on peripheral accessories like racing wheels. More to the fact, allow game data to interface beyond basic controller inputs. In other words, if I buy a licensed fanatec wheel, then all of it's features should work with Xbox, not
    just the stock Xbox buttons. I would love to see rev lights, flag lights, rotary encoders, extra buttons and switches, and basic game data make it to the wheel/wheel base (especially in F1 games and ACC). IMHO, the lack of complete functionality will push
    people to other options like PC or other consoles . In fact, that has been the consensus among the sim community, but I really enjoy my Xbox. Hopefully, the issue is already being worked for the Xbox Series X|S.

    You can only have one specific button mapped for one input/output at a given time. You'd need to get more peripherals/buttons if you intend on defining your set-up more.

    I mapped one of the paddles to the left stick for sprinting in games on my Elite. Both the paddle and left stick click have been working fine.

    Make sure your button is functioning properly in other games--it could be jammed. Also, double-check your button mapping (Xbox Accessories App) and controller settings (in the game).

    Hi there!

    If you are planning to use an Xbox 360 arcade stick, consider looking into a Brook converter, which enables you to use some 360 peripherals on Xbox One. The X1 Killer Instinct stick should work, as it is technically a controller. I assume that any buttons
    can be re-mapped in the game's settings.

    Microsoft cannot change their games for them.

    This is my point, Microsoft are limiting 3rd party peripheral from anything more than that of an Xbox controller, so why can't Microsoft just do as I explained and just open it up like a Keyboard where everything can be mapped to individual buttons as all wheels have a different amount of buttons.

    Sorry to hear it. Please double check to make sure these maps are installed. You can do this by highlighting the game on the dashboard and pressing the start button. Choose Manage Game and then go to Ready to Install.
