    Double Billing!!!


    I have already been billed for my xbox live subscription for the month on 10/17 for $10.96 is says xbox live as usuall.....a second charge showed up in my bank account this morning for $1096 dated 10/23 it says xbox live go. I haven't ordered anything
    in a few months??? To top it off the payment and history feature of Xbox Live is down I can't see my purchase history to even begin to figure out what it is.

    Double Billing!!!

    Hiya!

    Paul from the Xbox Forums Team here to assist with the issue, it looks like you recently got a charge that you don't recognize. There's a couple things to do to try and fix the issue. The first thing to do would be to go to our

    Refund Request
    page to see if you can get it refunded. The Second thing to do would be to try and
    Contact Customer Support
    for further assistance if required. I hope this information helps resolve the issue, please let us know how it goes.

    The usual issue is that it wasn't able to charge your card initially. So the charge for your monthly sub occurred later than normal for that previous month. And now its trying to charge for your current month. Rarely are you "double charged" unless you have
    another account with a monthly gold sub.

  6. I was billed my regular Gold Membership on October 30th (normal billing date) and again this morning (November 5). I cannot find a live person at their customer service department, and when I log in with my information, it doesn't show my subscription
    at all. No help from Microsoft at all. I finally reached my bank to have the charge declined. Has anyone ever talked with a live customer service rep?

    You would follow the contact link that was previously posted. Contact Us | Xbox Support Click no thanks to the virtual support amd look for the options to either chat

    If you're not seeing your subscription on your Billing section of your account, then you're most likely logged into the wrong account.

    Sorry about the confusion on how to view your order/subscription. I can totally help you out with what you're asking.

    There's several ways for you to check out your subscriptions and when they are supposed to renew. You can do it on the console or online.

    On the console, you can always sign into the account you're looking into then go to
    Settings>Account>Subscriptions or Settings>Account>Payment & Billing
    to check out that information.

    Online, you can always see all of that while signed into your account at
    account.microsoft.com
    . There's a tab there listed under Payment and Billing for your
    Order History and another tab listed Services & Subscriptions.

    I'm very sorry to hear of your payment issue. First, please take a breath and try not to panic - if you contact Xbox Support over the phone, you can talk to a human being and explain what has happened. The call is free, or you can request a call back.

    From there, someone from our team will be more than happy to look into this for you and have charges refunded. Please also look at the other replies in this thread for advice, as you may be asked to fill out a refund form.

    Hey there.

    If you have already spoken to billing over the phone and they have given their decision I am not sure there is much advice we can give you. I would talk to your financial instituion to see if they can put a stop on the second copy.

    You may also want to check your order history by signing into your account at account.microsoft.com and make sure that charge is for a Gold subscription and not something else.
