    DOUBLE BILLING FOR XBOX GOLD LIVE SUBSCRIPTION


    FOR All XBOX MEMBERS

    I purchased a Xbox Gold Live Membership for one year. Recently I noticed a couple charges to my bank account from Microsoft.

    Took me a day or so to understand that XBOX was billing another screen name we used on my Xbox individually for Xbox Gold Live.

    After finally reaching someone in person at 800-469 9269 ( Billing Support ) It was extremely difficult to get information when

    speaking to someone who was having difficulty understanding English ( No Offense ) to anyone . But I also could Barely understand

    her. So after being double billed basically she tried telling me that they don't do refunds for Subscriptions. I said that this was their

    error not mine. She said let me get my supervisors approval. She put me on hold for nearly 15 mins. Normally I would have hung up

    but wanted to get this refund since it happened three times before my husband caught it. He assumed I was charging something on

    xbox before mentioning it. She came back and said she was still waiting for her supervisor. Im sure she wasn't waiting for her

    supervisor I am more sure she expected me to hang up after waiting all that time. My lesson is this. Since you cannot erase your credit

    card number off of xbox you will be charged for something you didn't order. Probably in the subscriptions category since they do not

    do REFUNDS> They charged me $10.98 a monthy for three months imagine the fortune their making off of the players.

    Luckily it was only 3 months and we had to cancel our visa card to stop it. Be sure to Use every security you can in your

    profile to make sure they cannot " accidentally" charge something on your account. I love being able to provide this for my

    grandchildren when they come visit. I have to give it to XBOX that they use these people in the BILLING DEPT that can barely

    understand English and whats worse is the DIFFICULT To Understand them as well. GREAT BUSINESS TACTIC XBOX !!

    Unfortunately I wont be providing this anymore for my grandchildren. I am so disgusted .

    May I suggest that you double check the status of your account at "Xbox subscriptions" and or "Check
    your Xbox purchase history    " . Regardless of anyone's status, you can always check out the "Deals with Gold" . Let us know if your Xbox Live Gold account is current and up-to-date, but
    continue issues with it.

    This is why I stick to prepaid cards. Don't have to worry about anything like that.

    To double check whether your subscriptions are still active, check here- http://support.xbox.com/en-US/billing/xbox-subscriptions/check-xbox-live-bill

    If you still have gold, try restarting your console by pressing the xbox button, press settings, press restart.

    If that doesn't work, remove your account, restart the console and add back your account.

    Be sure to install any updates to your Xbox and game if necessary.
