    I have a problem regarding my xbox controller with windows 10. I had a xbox 360 controller and it was working properly

    and one day it started to act strangely. it was acting as 2 controllers with different button configurations.

    if u press a button it will make 2 different orders. i thought the controller was itself damaged and i bought xbox one controller

    and the same happened.

    Wireless Xbox 360 controller will no longer sync with PC

    I'm having the same problem. My wireless controller was working with my receiver yesterday, and today after installing the Windows 10 update, it no longer works. It's highly unlikely that this problem coinciding with what looks like a major Windows update
    is coincidental. Either this is a bug, or Microsoft no longer supports (i.e. disabled) 360 controllers with Windows 10 and wants us to buy Xbox One controllers.

    I'm hoping it's a bug.

    Instability when more than 1 Xbox One Controller is connected

    i have 2 xbox one controllers connected to my PC with the wireless adapter. i upgraded to windows 10 from windows 7. after upgrading i'm experiencing problems with certain applications, when more than 1 xbox one controller is connected:

    • the gamepad-to-keyboard mapping tool xpadder gets completely unstable and unusable.
    • the game "obliteracers" hangs on launch.
    there may be other applications having similar problems.

    the controllers are working fine with these applications , when only 1 controller is connected.

    i also have 2 xbox 360 controllers. and the problem also happens, if 1 xbox one and 1-2 xbox 360 controllers are connected. if just the 2 xbox 360 controllers are connected, the apps work fine. so the problem seems to happen, if a xbox one controller is
    connected simultaneously with any other controller (either a second xbox one or a 360 controller).

    any ideas what could cause this?

    I actually had this problem but I don't think it was the same reason as you but who knows, so I had this software XPadder which I used for games that weren't recognized by xbox controllers and I needed to map my buttons on my controller to my keyboard to
    be able to use my controller. When this software was running my controller would follow those mappings and if I played a game that recognized the controller normally then I would get this "double acting" problem you speak of. However, it's highly unlikely
    that this is also your problem. I just thought it would be worth mentioning just in case you forgot you had that software or maybe someone else downloaded that software.

    I'm sorry to see any co-op issues! You should be able to use multiple controllers on Windows 10 when it comes to the wired controllers.

    We attempted to test this out here, however we couldn't find any local co-op games that we have available to us on Windows 10 that has controller support. What game are you attempting this in?

    Can you try installing the xbox 360 drivers located here?

    If you have windows 10 64 bit please choose the windows 7 64 bit version as that's compatible.
    Tested, no luck. Still behaving like a mouse ...

    Wired Xbox 360 Controller doesn't work - Windows 10 Pro Ver. 21H1

    In addition to the above. I've tested out my old Xbox 360 wired controller on my Windows 10 21H1 on a couple of games. Wolfenstein the New Colossus being one of them and it works fine.

    It's not a problem with the latest version of Windows 10.
