[/quote] Your not buying the game twice. Just buy the game for 60 bucks or less depending if you find it on sale. You can even buy it used if you want and can play online. You DO NOT have to buy the season pass. Its only if you want to buy/pay for all the
map packs in advance to save $10. Its a scam if you ask me. Every game has map packs and they are already telling you they are only going to release 4 of them at $15 a map pack. So if you buy the season pass which eventually is all four of the map packs you
save $10. However if you move on to another game and never download the extra map packs when they come out your going to lose money. You can still play the game all you want solo or multiplayer onXBox Live. The season pass is nothing more than a gimmick. Just
buy the game and your set. The map packs aren't even coming out until next year. Also it doesn't have dedicated servers but like I said you only need the game itself. Buy it new or used because it doesn't cost anything to play the game online. A season pass
for COD doesn't mean you have to buy it to play a game you already own online like some do, at least for now.

Devastation DLC ?

so if i buy just the map pack, do i get the ripper? or do i have to buy the season pass?

The Sinai Desert map and the Suez map are both included in the base game. Paid DLC has not been released yet for Battlefield 1.

Hi Lucas. Thank you for your reply.

I Have installed both of the maps that the season pass comes with and can play them fine, however, there are game items I cannot use as it says I need to 'own genesis season pass' however I do have it (bought it when it came out). You cannot purchase these maps separately either so this is the only way I could have obtained these maps.

There is no error message it is just the in-game items saying I must own the season pass to use them.

It also is included with the game pass which I bought a few days ago but when I click the link saying available in-game pass it says I need to purchase this as well. It is only saying it's £1 again so I could buy it again and see if this fixes it somehow.

I think what it means is that if you bought something seprate thats part of season pass dont buy season pass or you will be charged twice. Like buying one of the maps then getting the season pass that map is in.

the gold edition is the game and the season pass so all you need is to buy the season pass and it comes with the extra outfits.

Only the season pass carries over...

If you buy any individual DLC for the game, it will not carrie over.

So you should really buy that season pass if you want all maps on both console, saves you quite a bit

And I think you need to buy the season pass before 31th of May, to get it on both consoles.
