Doom

I would like to pre order Doom from a store so that I can get a physical copy of the game. I was wondering if I pre order it from a store will I still get messaged codes for Doom 1 and Doom 2 like if I were to pre order through the xbox store digitally?

 

Thought there was gonna be a beta. I got a code with Wolfenstein but apparently it doesn't mean anything.

 

Brandiesel, they did a Alpha not too long ago that I played in on PS4 so I am sure the beta will come in late march or early april.

 

I think that was it, I found a access code to it in my spam folder and that was because I bought Wolfenstien... it was over before I found it...

 

Looking forward to this but probably wont pre order it.

Campaign is meant to be about 13 hours long,so probably about 10 hours in reality.

 

I love "Doom".

I love shooting things.

Once I've finished shooting things I shall go back and shoot them again.

If this is as much a labour of love as Dooms of the past it will be one that will be fun to repeat.

 

Played the alpha and wasnt overly impressed.. depending on the 'market' for games at the time we'll see if i bother with it. If the market is dead i might pick it up, but ive got such a huge backlog i probably wont

 

"Doom" might have been one of the first games to introduce "Death Matches" but it's always been the quality of the single player experience that makes this shine for me.

I know what you mean iBakez. The multiplayer in the new "DOOM" doesn't look like it will be anything more than a very brief distraction.

 

Doom will always be my favorite FPS..... I can remember playing the demo on my dad's IBM PCjr and the noises keeping me up at night.... I have yet to be disappointed by any version of DOOM (except the movie...lol)......
