    That's correct. The version on the disc is currently the one that is not supported. Users with the Xbox Arcade version of DOOM II should be able to access their game with no issue.

    Still kind of strange right.

    I think it's only the way they access the game which is different right.

    But as you said it will be available in the near future.

    Any estimated time on this?

    Thing is why do companies now a days still use regions, this is so pre-2005.

    The world keeps getting smaller due to internet and newer technologies.

    Hope Microsoft will see this and make the gap between region smaller or even non existing.

    Greetings! Just for clarification. DOOM 3 BFG Edition will be 'yes' a Disc retail release. It will release October 16th. ...and, Doom 1 and Doom 2 will be bundled on disc. !!!! !!!! :)

    Its the ported version of Doom 3 that was on the original xbox. It already had a co-op campaign on the xbox over live so this should be a fairly easy port. The 360 version of Doom 3 also comes with Doom 1 and Doom 2. Plus the Doom 3 expansions. All for
    $39.99. One heck of a deal IMO. Doom 3 BFG edition.
