Doom eternal campaign not working

Hi, I'm trying to start the doom eternal campaign but after I finally got it to download it was only 10+mb and I cant find it anywhere except recently installed and it does nothing when selected. Does this mean I have to waste almost a hundred GBs of space for the battlemode that I have no interest in and wont play? When it started downloading the battlemode started first so I paused it and tried to start the campaign download but it didn't work until I canceled the battlemode. Then it showed it was just over 10mb and took about a second to finish downloading. But now I cant do anything with it. Please let me know as I dont want to waste my free space on something I dont like or want unless it's unfortunately absolutely necessary.

Unfortunately, my friend, you would have to download it all, even if you will not play all the modes of the game.

You could just download it, play it and then uninstall it afterwards. :/

I just tried that,

So what I had to do was install both files, Battle something or the rather which would be the online mode.. (which Im not into) and then it has to install a 10+GB update and THEN I had to create a Bethesda account (which im not sure why as I don't like multiplayer)
and then it allowed me to select campaign..

What a head ache.

Please follow the steps mentioned here (section: troubleshooting add-ons) => Find your games and add-ons on Xbox | Xbox Support. After following the previous steps, please over the following ones:

Access Settings > Network Settings > Advanced Settings > Alternate Mac Address > Clear it and the console should restart. It would definitely help if you could restart the internet router while the console is restarting.

After going through the troubleshooting steps mentioned, I invite you to perform a quick power cycle by turning off the console and then unplugging all the cables. After 2 to 3 minutes, re-plug them back again, then restart your console.
