    Doom Beta Issue.... Sad Face


    Hey Peeps

    So I got Wolfenstein (great game) and my Doom Beta Code, I have gone to the site, used the code and was advised that I would get a confirmation email within 5 minutes.... days later still nothing...

    Anyone else have this happen?

    this has happened to me too - no email, not in spam or junk or anything, redeemed on day 1 Doom Beta Issue.... Sad Face :(

    I got an email within a few minutes telling me that I was registered for the Beta and they would inform me when it was released. The confirmation email is for you to verify your email address. So hopefully you entered it correctly.

    My confirmation came immediately.

    Other people have been affected by this too though.

    Probably the best thing to do is to go to the official website and log the issue with support.

    Then... the hard part... be patient. Let them sort it out.

    There's a poor guy on the official Forums having kittens because things haven't been resolved... and he keeps emailing new complaints... meaniong duplicating and triplicating the same request.

    The good news is that the Beta isn't LIVE and probably won't be for a while yet.

    Let us know how you get on.

    At least you have a code. I bought it directly from the games store and I'm still waiting on them to email the actual code for people who bought the digital copy.

    Just read this thread so figured I would try putting in the code since I all ready forgot about it and the website is not working. When I click on Doom beta it goes nowhere so maybe there fixing it.
