Doom 3 xbox 360 game disc doesnt install the game

Bethesda recommends not installing the game to hdd. There is no performance advantage, and there is a problem with launching Doom 1 and 2 if you do so. You can read more about it here:

I have doom 3 disc .

It updated doom 1&2 , then paused doom 3 instalation and said " something went wrong " .

I rechecked it yesterday unfortunately no go.

When I place the disc in the Xbox One it shows only DOOM the original version not the Second one.

But the Xbox 360 sees DOOM II like an Extra DLC package.

I think they did not check the DOOM 3 BFG edition disc when they updated the BWC list for these two games.

Hope they can solve this A.S.A.P.

Yes that was the main reason I wanted Doom 3 was to play through the co-op again. I owned it on the original xbox and loved the co-op mode for Doom 3. Played through it many times with friends, family, and randoms. I just simply could not believe Doom
3 didnt have co-op on the 360. I also didnt like the fact we could not install Doom 3. If you install it, you cant access Doom 1 or Doom 2. Oh well as you said, there are plenty of co-op games out there. In fact there are actually at least 136 co-op games
for the 360. I have played almost all of them. If you like co-op make sure you check out Borderlands 2. Easily one of the best games so far in 2012.

They had an excellent idea to bring Doom 3 to the 360. BUT and this is a massive but, they removed the co-op mode from Doom 3. Even though it worked perfect on the xbox, the removed co-op from Doom 3 for the 360. Plus if you have Doom 3 installed, you
cant access Doom 1 or Doom 2. Ouch. I ended up returning the game for a full refund. Which reminds me I need to delete doom 3 and doom 2 from my gamertag since I dont own them anymore. I still have Doom 1 on the arcade.

I dont mind them bringing older games to the 360, but if you are going to do it, do it right. I am almost afraid to ask anymore because it seems like something always gets messed up with these older ports. Would still like to see Roller Coaster Tycoon or
Rallisport Challenge 2 get ported from the xbox to the 360.
