Doom 3 bfg won't install

Discus and support Doom 3 bfg won't install in XBoX Games and Apps to solve the problem; I insert the disc from doom 3 bfg and it shows that there is a disc inserted.     Doom 3 bfg won't install


    I insert the disc from doom 3 bfg and it shows that there is a disc inserted. When I select the disc to install I get an error message : " this game isn't playable here". It says right on the package "plays on Xbox one". I purchased last year and have tried
    several times and the result is always the same. Any help getting this up and running would be greatly appreciated as this is one of my fav games and I don't have any other consoles anymore

    Cannot Play Doom 2 from Doom 3 BFG Disc?

    Is there any way to play Doom 2 from the Doom 3 BFG Disc? The Xbox automatically recognises the disc as Doom 1. When I first installed the disc I managed to install Doom 2, but now I cannot play it.

    Doom 3 bfg won't install

    • Make sure the Xbox One console is on
    • Hold the power button for 10 seconds
    • The Xbox One should turn off after the 10 seconds, if it has you can then turn it back on
    • Check and see if the disc is now being recognized or if the game is in the ready to install list

    DOOM 3 BFG Edition is compatible with Backward Compatility Program.

    First, you need to be connected to the Live so you can download the compatibility update right after you insert the disc.
