Doom 3 BFG "install disc"

Discus and support Doom 3 BFG "install disc" in XBoX Games and Apps to solve the problem; I installed Doom 3 BFG but whenever I put the disc in, the disc tile still says "install disc" instead of recognizing the disc.     Doom 3 BFG "install disc"


    I installed Doom 3 BFG but whenever I put the disc in, the disc tile still says "install disc" instead of recognizing the disc. The game did install because I can go find it on my games list and start it from there. The disc isn't scratched or anything and
    plays fine in my 360. Others 360 titles I've installed show up fine when I insert the disc so I know it's not an issue with the console or anything. Has anyone else experienced this?

    Cannot Play Doom 2 from Doom 3 BFG Disc?

    Is there any way to play Doom 2 from the Doom 3 BFG Disc? The Xbox automatically recognises the disc as Doom 1. When I first installed the disc I managed to install Doom 2, but now I cannot play it.

    Doom 3 BFG "install disc"

    I am also having the same issue but it is just installing Doom & Doom 2 from the disc but I already have them from the digital versions whats going on.

    Hey all!

    Sorry to hear about the trouble you're having with Doom 3. If you haven't already please try uninstalling all content associated with the disc, the power cycle your console by holding down the power button for 8-10 seconds. After your console shuts off turn
    it back on and try installing the game to see if there's any change.

    Ok its working now I dont know what you guys have done as I am sure I tried this already and it didnt work before.

    my copy of doom 3 wont even install keep getting a "eject and try again" message. and just spent 30 minutest with a tech bubba trying to figure out what is going on, the thing still won't work.

    It sounds like you might be having trouble with the disc drive in your case. If you haven't already please run through this
    disc drive troubleshooter. If you're still having trouble please create a new thread and let us know. Thanks!

    Greetings! Just for clarification. DOOM 3 BFG Edition will be 'yes' a Disc retail release. It will release October 16th. ...and, Doom 1 and Doom 2 will be bundled on disc. !!!! !!!! :)

    Not sure, the only examples I can give is with Doom and Doom 2. I owned both as arcade purchases, when I bought Doom 3 BFG edition Doom and Doom 2 are playable on the disc, when I do they register as if I was playing the arcade version. I would presume Minecraft
    would be the same.





    Also Pac Man CE with the disc in is selectable by either starting with the disc or as the installed version. When I play either they register as the same game... Not sure if that answers anything though
