Don't Starve: Shipwrecked Bug

I'm having trouble in the game Do not Starve: Shipwrecked.

I'm playing on a custom map. The game is crashing when it goes on the second day.

Can I return a bought DLC for a game?

I bought Don't Starve: Shipwrecked Edition very recently for my Xbox One. The problem is that I did not know that this ''game'' is just a DLC. I do not own Don't Starve, I just own the DLC, thus I cannot play it. My question is: can I return back the DLC
in exchange for my money?

P.S.: After I bought it, I went on the site where you buy this DLC, and it says ''Works with'' and shows the actual Don't Starve games. This suggests that this is only a DLC, but I still think that Microsoft should include a pop-up window before you pay explaining
that this ''game'' is only a DLC and will not work without the actual game. This would make sure that retards like me would not lose their money by buying a DLC for a game they don't have.

P.P.S.: Why can't I use a gift card to buy Xbox 360 games?!

 

can't play don't starve mega pack

can't play don't starve giant addition. I downloaded it via don't starve mega pack disk. same error keeps popping up. 0x8b050069 please help or fix. also there is no topic for don't starve.

Are you running into this issue with any other parts of the game or with a standard modes?

Where did you acquire the custom map?

Have you tried re-downloading or reinstalling that content?
