Don’t send in your Xbox for repair

not happy at all I sent in my Xbox one s for repairs and they sent it back damaged , I call support and got a young guy with attitude that argued with me and then when I asked six times for a supervisor he finally got one, well it gets better I tried
to complain to Jack the supervisor but he cut me off then when I told him what the damages were he got a attitude as well. Where is our customer service Xbox should be ashamed of themselves for acting this way. I hope some see’s this and will take action
and make it right , Xbox is still broke thanks for nothing.

Sorry, we are unable to play this disc.

My roommate had this same problem. Just return it or send it to xbox for repair.

Xbox One X Loud disc Drive when installing games.

I noticed My Xbox One X ‘s Disc Drive make a very loud sound while games install from disc? Is my Disc Drive faulty? Does anyone else have/has this issue? I don’t really want to send it in for repair and I really don’t want to exchange it at a retailer
for a new one since it’s a project Scorpio edition.

NZ and Australia have special consumer Rights. So when we have issues with purchased products, we just take it back to the retail store where we'll get a refund or replacement. Consumer legislation over here dictates if a customer wants a repair, they can
take it back to the retail store where they'll organize repair and where the law requires the company to fix the issue within a reasonable time. But most customers go for the refund or replacement.

Thankfully I haven't found the need to get something fixed through Microsoft. And if I did, in most cases it would be cheaper and less hassle to get a new one, if the product's warranty has expired. It can be hard for customers to deal with an overseas manufacturer
directly. You should come live in NZ or Australia. These countries have very good consumer legislative rights which cannot be omitted by any contract.

Check the status of your warranty. Your best bet is to send it for repair. If they can’t fix it, they should contact you about sending a replacement. Don’t try methods to fix it as you may void the warranty.

They don’t repair your console and send it back to you, They grab a refurb off the pile and ship you that. This is standard practice at most major electronics manufactures as they bulk ship them for repair or recycling to a central location, often China.
