    Don't see Xbox 360 Minecraft purchased content in the Xbox one store


    I recently got Minecraft for Xbox one and now I have all the skins and textures on the 360 I want to get on the Xbox one. Online it says it should be free, but Xbox one keeps saying it isn't. I am able to move saved games, but not the skins and textures.
    HELP!!! This is so annoying, it should be simple.

    Minecraft migration from xbox 360 to One - "re-buy everything"

    For a long while I've been purchasing mash up packs, maps and other content for minecraft on the xbox 360. Noting that minecraft is owned by microsoft, I was disgusted to find that now that I've upgraded to an XBox one, that I am expected to repurchase
    most of that content.

    I basically feel like I've been conned by a company that has control of all of the chips. Microsoft, I am disappointed in you, ALL content purchased on the Xbox 360, for minecraft, should be free to download on the same account on the xbox one.

    How do I go about getting a complete refund for all of my recent 360 purchases in the minecraft store, so that I can re-buy in the minecraft store on the xbox one?

    In the time of having Xbox 360 I purchased Minecraft and would again like to purchase Minecraft for Xbox one but do not see the discounted pricing for 360 to One.

    How are you accessing the One's store to view the items? If memory serves, you have to go through the game on the One, basically, an in-game menu, to get to them. Some of the skin packs aren't available on the One though. If you can't access any of them,
    your best bet may be to contact support.

    Minecraft for Xbox 360 and Minecraft for Xbox One are two different games. The content purchases are considered to be on the 360 so it's for a different game as far as the Xbox One is concerned.

    Correct, just the Free Souls pack that I re-purchased (for free) is showing. Everything else wants me to re-purchase instead of install. This is both through the Microsoft website (linked above), the Xbox One console and store page when browsed from the Xbox One console. The content on the Xbox 360 works perfectly but I don't want to have to use that. Thats what backwards compatibility is for.

    As I said, the issue is to do with the new Microsoft store that the Xbox One uses to verify ownership not recognising the content was previously purchased on the original Xbox store used by the Xbox 360 console.

    Yes, you can make the purchase on a 360. The One store has just mever been updated to see the Microsoft account balance as a valid payment option for 360 or original Xbox content.

    Hey there LR Crash,

    As KristianGrey stated, you'll need to purchase this content on Xbox.com or an Xbox 360 console. Not all DLC can be purchased on the Xbox One Store.

    Let us know if you have any issues purchasing the content on Xbox.com or Xbox 360!
