Don’t own a game anymore

I don’t own a PC, most people don’t anymore.

Yea fixes I’ve seen dance around real issue so luckily didn’t try any of them. Looks like they released the fix is in today and mines working for now. Hope lessons have been learned.

This is a MS licensing issue.

Don't follow the troubleshooting here, it will risk data loss, require you to redownload and reinstall the game again once MS fix their server issue.

There are two options to fix this.

1. Wait until MS actually acknowledge there is a problem and wait for the fix. (it's a global issue affecting tens of thousands of people and they haven't acknowledged it yet from what I can see)

2. Get them to completely refund your purchase because its not giving you what you paid for, and then repurchase it in the hope that buying again will reinstate the licenses.

I honestly don't know why support here are following the same script when it's been obvious for days that this doesn't work.

It should be visible still once we choose the "All available" filter. Kindly make sure that it's for the correct version and it's "completed". Once confirmed, kindly remove and re-add your account by following the steps below:

"REMOVE ACCOUNT​​​

1. Press the Xbox button to open the guide. ​​​

2. Select System > Settings > Account > Remove accounts. ​​​

3. Select the account that you want to remove, and then select Remove to confirm. ​​​

4. When you're finished, select Close. ​​​

POWERCYCLE CONSOLE​​​

1. Turn off your console by holding the Xbox button on the front of the console for approximately 10 seconds. The console will turn off. ​​​

2. Turn your console back on by pressing the Xbox button on the console or the Xbox button on your controller. ​​​

ADD ACCOUNT​​​

1. Press the Xbox button to open the guide. ​​​

2. Select your gamerpic in the upper-left corner of the screen, move all the way down and select Add new. ​​​

3. Enter the Email address and the password.​​​

4. Read the Microsoft Service Agreement and Privacy Statement, and then select I Accept. ​​​

5. Follow the steps to configure your Sign-In & Security preferences to add your Microsoft account to your Xbox console.​​​"

Won’t that delete any saved game data or home Xbox sharing?

This seems from all the people with issues, including me, that this is a Portkey issue for many game owners. We shouldn’t have to request refunds and reset accounts and game data to play a game that just quit letting us have access. Xbox (Microsoft) needs to step in on behalf of users and get to a solution with Portkey.
