Don't Meet The Requirements To Record On Xbox Game Bar??????!!!

All Windows 10 PCs should be able to capture screenshots in games, no matter what video card you have. To capture game clips, however, your PC’s video card must support one of these encoders:

• Intel Quick Sync H.264
• NVidia NVENC
• AMD VCE

Video cards that support NVidia NVENC include:

• Most GeForce 600 series or later
• Most Quadro K series or later

Unfortunately, the GT1030 does NOT support NVENC (support for hardware video encoding on the graphics card).

You would need to get a different nVidia graphics card which support NVENC, or graphics cards from AMD which support AMD VCE.

You must bring your PC up to at least the minimum requirements to be able to perform that function. Do the research on your computer and see what has to be added to make that happen.

I've tried all of those things, though most of them don't really apply to me, such as the full screen/windowed thing since the problem isn't that it thinks there's nothing to record. It says my PC doesn't meet the requirements when it in fact does. And also
the shortcuts being blocked isn't the issue either, the Game Bar does come up but the record option is greyed out.

I'm sorry to hear that the Xbox Game Bar is not recording. Go through the following steps to make sure your PC meets these requirements.

• Make sure you have the latest updates on your Windows 10 PC. Press the
  Start button, then choose Settings. Go to Update & security, then select
  Check for updates.
• Check Game Bar’s settings. Press the Start button, then choose
  Settings. Go to Gaming > Game bar, then turn on
  Record game clips, screenshots, and broadcast using Game bar. Also make sure that background recording is on so that you can record the last 30 seconds (or whatever time you picked).
• When playing a game, press the Windows logo key + G to open Game Bar. Select the
  Enable gaming features for this app to record gameplay when trying to use gaming features like broadcasting or capturing.
• The game may be running in full-screen mode. See

• The game might be blocking custom keyboard shortcuts. See

• Make sure you’ve updated your graphics drivers. See

• Try choosing a different display option for your game (such as borderless windows).
