Don’t know what to do.

Hi guys, first time posting. Hoping someone can give me ideas.

So heres whats going on in short. My xbox one x is not working correctly. Some games cause it to crash and shut down completely. When it restarts it claims overheating. This only happens on some games, but other demanding games run fine. Ive contacted microsoft,
which was a nightmare in itself, and they have determined it needs repair.

Heres the problem, they want $250 to fix it. Im not unreasonable, and i understand its out of warranty at 18 months old. But for $250 I can pick up a used working console in 30 minutes, and still have lunch money. I can get a new xbox one for $299.

This is all made that much worse when you factor in the day I decided to buy a one x. I was on the phone with microsoft because my 360 died, permanently, and told him I was considering upgrading, but concerned about longevity. Built to last he boasted, 10+
year lifespan.

Here I am 18 months later with a half broken console, a company that hardly stands behind their product with the most broken customer service Ive ever seen, and they want nearly the cost of a new console to make this one work? So my question is, what should
I do? Aside from the obvious choice of going and purchasing a PS4 and never recommending another microsoft product?

Btw, Ive purchased at least 4 consoles from microsoft and have spent well over $1000. I feel like a properly operating console isnt too much to ask.

Oh, one more thing. I have cleaned the vents, have an external fan blowing on. Console is cool to the touch even when playing.

To be honest I feel like you’ve gotten a little bit unlucky but saying that these things do happen over time with anything even a PS for that runs like a jet engine from nearly day one will F up in a way Eventually

In Australia there is a consumer warranty which is like two years so Me having this problem is no issue.

But I wouldn’t be Choosing other consoles or other brands just because of this issue

Controllers have different generations so if you have an older controller you may have to get one thats newer and has the bluetooth feature. Not all controllers have that.

In regard to the blank page error, this might be a network interruption/connection issue. I just want to verify, on your Windows PC device are you connected to the internet wired or wireless?

If it's on wireless, please try to use a wired connection and then check if it works.

Also, for us to further isolate the issue, kindly try to use a different browser such as Microsoft Edge, Chrome or Firefox then try to claim the Game Pass quests and achievements to see if works.

It doesnt work and i look at infomation of my controller and it does have bluetooth and it doesnt work i tried and tried and looked up people have the same thing it doesnt pop up at all on blue tooth and i hear people say it works for samsung and i dont
care about samung and reply a link for a video of showing how it works and what does it work on
