Don't Kill Lionhead

Yeah,the shops are there as it's the only place in the game where there are shops so there are a lot all close together.It's more like a market town than a city.

But it doesn't tell you that the shops are there all the time.

Anyhow,thought i'd fire up Fable 3 today just for memories & it didn't take long for me to remember why it's the worst of the Fable games.

That's when Lionhead started to go downhill & the games after where pretty dire.It's a shame but I think it was inevitable.

 

I've always been a Fable fan. When I heard of the atrocity which was Fable Legends I just knew the studio was declining. I certainly enjoyed Fable, Fable 2 and Fable 3 and can definitely agree that that the original Fable is by far the best. I do think that
the series could live on but in my opinion they shot themselves in the foot with Legends and that awful kinect only game.

Edit: I did play the Fable Legends beta and instantly regretted it. It was lazy and boring. and obviously a "free to play" that had micro-transactions written all over it.

 

That's a fair point.

While you're in the town they're in your face but when you get out adventuring you're out adventuring and they aren't ever present in that sense.

Read your Fable 3 comment and... well... yeah.

Did any of you guys play "Black & White" on the PC?

That was pretty good fun... until if you were too helpful and good your character turned Pink.

You'd have to eat a few villagers just to get back to a normal colour.

 

Still play Black & White from time to time now,great game.

Fable 2 is my favorite game in the series

Fable 1 was good

Fable 3 I never played.

In regards to Fable Legends, Lions Head took a risk and it didn't pay off too well for them

With that being said, I think that Lion Head slapped the Fable brand name on the game in hopes to sell more volumes of the game because they knew that whatever title the game originally had wouldn't attract any attention.

Still waiting for Black and White to be remade, my favorite god game/rpg. So simple yet GREAT and deserves to be put on Xbox.... Why didn't they

 

Fable the original is still arguably the best and if I remember correctly the best karma/rpg choices that decided your good and evil status which was the most iconic to me. I did not understand why they added guns later in the series as it was definetly
not needed. Even worse is that I fear they're will not be another black and white game its already been about 10 years since Battle of the Gods and i found my case but lost my CD key, Lionhead studios shutdown, and cannot find another copy in store.

 

Fable 3 was the last good Fable game. I wish we would finally get Fable 4. None of this Kinect or online Fable stuff.

 

I played Fable Legends and right after I played it I was silently hoping for them to not publish it. I wanted a Fable 4. I still hope for it. Fable Legends was boring they should have stopped it when they still had time. Now the whole studio is doomed and
the head of it is responsible for it, no one else. I feel sorry for the employees. I hope the good ones left early enough. No one wants to sit on a sinking ship. Fable 3 was not that great I guess that's why they tried a new way. I thought they are done with
it after Fable Legends and Fable the Journey. I liked them both but they were not as cool as they supposed to be. I don't know why they risk all for Fable Legends....
