Don't have access to Minecraft account

I apologize but we can only request a refund for a game if we have access to the account where it was purchased.

The best option that we can do is to recover the account, Vera. Did you purchase this through the Mojang website or through Microsoft Store?

If through Microsoft, kindly sign in to https://account.microsoft.com/billing/orders using all Microsoft accounts that you own. If this was purchased through Mojang and you still have the email confirmation, you can try using the transaction ID by reaching out to them.

I just had to deal with this today.

Xbox support says they don't have access and that any Minecraft account issues need to be resolved by the Windows account team. Unfortunately there is no way with access to the parent email.

The adultness of your account is determined by the birthdate that was entered when you created the account.

If, according to that birthdate, your account is 18 years (or 20 if you're in Korea), then you automatically get an adult account that doesn't need parental accounts to make your settings.

Also, the parental email that is used, is "only" a username that looks like an email. If the parent that set up the parental account still knows the password, they can sign in under
https://account.xbox.com/settings without having access to the actual email.

I'm sorry you are experiencing this with your Minecraft game.

Based on your description, the error suggests that the system can't find the Minecraft game license on your Microsoft account.

Your Minecraft account must have migrated to the original email address where it was first created.

In order to fix this, you will need to find the Microsoft account where your Minecraft was migrated and where your Minecraft game license was purchased.

Note: After the migration, the Minecraft transaction should appear under the Microsoft account's order history regardless if the game was purchased on the Mojang website before.

Kindly sign in to all of your email accounts on account.microsoft.com > order history > select the date of range when you purchased your Minecraft game.

From there, check if you have the Minecraft transactions. If you have found the transactions, use the same Microsoft account to log out and re-login to the Microsoft Store and Minecraft Launcher.

If you're unable to find the Minecraft game transaction, this can only mean that the game was purchased on a different email account. Please check your other Microsoft email accounts' order history.
