Don't get the elite controller, it wears out just as fast as a normal controller does

I got one and it wore out just as fast as the controller that came with my console and the one I bought to replace it. The only real difference is the uncomfortable extra buttons under it and the fact that it costs more than twice as much. A little while
after I got it one of the sticks started to have a little play in it or (for those who don't know what that means) it started jiggling. I contacted support and they informed me the warranty lasts about 20 minutes after purchasing the controller. Also now there
is no up/down control on the left stick so unless I'm playing a game that doesn't require any use of the left stick including the whole interface the controller is completely useless. And I can't use the D pad either because when ever I try to use it everything
just starts going down. Like some ghost man is pressing up on the left stick even though it doesn't work. And when it did work if you didn't jiggle it every ten and a half seconds it would start freaking out. Instead just buy two normal controllers and save
the remaining 30 dollars and put it toward the rent you have to pay to be able to keep using the console you already spent $250+ on and so you can play the games you spent $60+ on. After writing all this I realized I should probably go to my local police station
and report to them that I've been getting raped every few days for the past three years...fml

Headset audio cuts and controller plugged in?

So I recently started getting audio cuts with my headset. So I eventually plugged my controller in and crystal clear audio again. Now I did a search and someone says it works wirelessly with a new controller. So does anyone know
of a another fix other than buying a Xbox Elite controller? It is kinda dumb if a stereo adapter or a controller wears out that damn fast. Most of my equipment is fairly new.

I know the elite controller has a normal headphone jack that you can plug your Samsung headphones into don't think a normal controller does though
