    Can no longer turn on xbox from xbox app

    Hi,

    A corrupted data may cause your app not to work properly. Here are steps on how to troubleshoot issues with your Smart Glass app and with your Xbox console:

    1. Re-install your Smart Glass app.

    2. Manual update your Xbox Console

    3. Change power settings to "Instant On".

    4. Try again to turn on your Xbox console from Xbox app.

    Saying that, how do I find the new smart glass controller? it used to be at the bottom but its not there any more, I don't have any TV input so when I click OneGuide, it crashes , so I don't know if its there, but I used to use it a lot.

    Are you on Iphone or Android. I am on Iphone and there is no longer the bar at the bottom....eek

    I have looked at both iPad and iPhone. If you are properly connected to your XBOX, you should see a 'toolbar' at the bottom of the screen that includes what you are playing now, an audio icon and the remote icon... at least I do.

    I had to check the connection at first; without it there is no bar showing.

    Glad to be able to sort the pins out, now all I want is sub section, like arcade, disk games and app lol

    Thanks, I will update this today. I love smartglass and the beta didn't work for me so I am pretty happy its public now.

    ive only really used smart glass with dead rising 3.it was awesome and made searching for items easier.hopefully more games will have a use for it soon.

    Its a really handy tool to use when you have it by you all the time. Helps cut short a lot of typing. Lately I just have it on achievements and friends.
