don't download the todays available update

Other thing I have. No friends tab sometimes. And even when it is there, I go into it and every single time it says "we are unable to show your friends list"! I go back to the dash board and then back I and its fine. But this is every time with out fail.

Another favourite is games refusing to start. I click on a game and simply put, nothing happens. Another hard reset. Another one is "we can't show your pinned apps". I'm hooked to Xbox live and signed in but it won't show my pins? Come on seriously. Are
the setting all online or something.

I was one of the first to always jump to defence of my beloved Xbox one when it came out and it had a few problems. This is now beyond a joke. It has been out for a long time now! This is truly unexceptable! I know I'm going to cop flak from the defenders
but I truly don't care. If you like paying for something that has so many glitches then that's fine. And I'm not going to be one who sits here and says oh, I'm going to ps4 or crap like that. But Microsoft really need to up there game on this stuff because
it's highly unacceptable!

 

maybe you should bite the bullet and do a factory reset on your console, the only time i have to do a hard reset is when the party chat doesn't work, and that is once every week or so, other than that i'm not having any issues, sometimes games won't start,
but i just wait a few seconds, select it again and it works, friends list has only disappeared on me a hand full of times since Christmas.

so maybe you just need to start over cause it sounds more like an issue with your console instead of the usual software bugs that most people are dealing with.

 

At first I thought I was reading the preview forums for a second. Can't tell if this is about the public update that went out a few days ago, or the preview update from last night.

 

Went home for lunch, turned mine on (set for auto d/l) Had no issues at all.

 

My issues was on instant on mode the xbox would freeze when turned on. i think it has been fixed. only party issues iv had since the update is being kicked into game chat but that happened once

 

Oh yeh apparently this update fixed the controller disconnect issues! Pffffft! Updated my console, updated my controller, and guess what? Disconnected twice yesterday for no reason. Real great fixing Microsoft!

 

Too late for me to do anything as my xbox is set to download updates on standby.

 

I don't think this update has made anything worse but I'm having a hard time seeing that it made anything better either!

 

Ok is this the public update that was released days ago or is the a preview program new update? No problems for me on the public update that went out days ago.
