    I would not recommend buying the Xbox One Elite controller to anyone. The quality of the controller after 1 year diminished very fast. The $60 that controller that came with the Xbox has lasted longer than this one. My LB button literally fell off from me
    just pressing it. I haven't thrown it or anything. The plastic inside just broke. The rubber on the side is peeling off with no way to fit it back inside the side of the controller. The rubber on my left joystick spins around on top of the stick itself. I
    am very unhappy with this controller. I was really hoping that $170 would last me much longer than this.

    I will make as much internet noise as i can. I will complain on twitter, Facebook, and all official xbox social media i can find. This cannot be tolerated, I'm frustrated.

    A lot of people are indeed displeased by the fact that such a "premium" accessory only comes with a 90 day warranty by default (in the US).

    Microsoft would have to increase the default warranty period, or in the fashion of the UK, a trade law would have to be passed in the US to force Microsoft (among many other manufacturers) to extend that warranty further. The former is the likely the more
    plausible remedy for us.

    When will anything happen? Nobody knows...

    Customizing your elite controller with Xbox design lab

    Being able to customize an elite controller would probably convince me to buy one. However, I don't see Xbox doing this unless elite controller sales were much higher. I think the price point still keeps a lot of people from pulling the trigger.

    I see so many people inquiring about similar issues on the Elite controllers. Either repeat the same process as you previously did and hope that you get one without the same issue, or switch to another controller type. I don't know that I would ever
    buy an Elite based on what I hear. I could buy multiple controllers for the cost of one Elite.
