    Don't buy movies from Xbox ****Beware


    I've been a loyal owner of Xbox's since it's inception. I've purchased digital movies over the years, and today when trying to view Abraham Lincoln Vampire Hunter it wouldn't play, I received error 0x101a3ff. I reinstalled the app but the problem persisted.
    So then I removed the movie and when trying to re-download it, but it wasn't showing in my q. After an HOUR on chat because there were no available reps on the weekend...(because with all the money Xbox has made they cheaped out) the rep made me go back to
    my purchases to give him an order#. Then he told me since the movie was purchased in 2012, there isn't any warranty. I then even offered to pay for it and he refund me he stated that he could only refund tax because there isn't a warranty. I never knew purchasing
    movies I "OWNED" was loaded. Be very careful if the do this with movies they can do it with games.

    Let me explain, I bought 5 movies on Xbox. The only way I can watch them is on a Xbox or PC. When you buy movies from Amazon or VUDU you can watch them on XBox, PC's, Ipads, Iphones, Roku, literally anything. Amazon movies are universal. So all I am
    saying is why buy movies from Xbox video when you can optimize your viewing choices buy buying the same movies on a Amazon or VUDU. The xbox plays everything. Its a excellent viewing device. All I am saying is do not BUY your movies from XBOX VIDEO since
    you limit where the movies you own can be seen.

    Can we get a cd/game/movie disc changer?

    All my game purchases are digital from the store and no I don't buy movies but If I didn't wouldn't be swapping them I. And out of the xbox all that often plus you can also by the movies digitally via xbox video

    Not really I own a Samsung galaxy s3 and even bought a few movies off the google play store :D.. anyways I don't mind only watching this movie on the big screen ..that is where I do 99% of my watching on anyways.



    I just don't feel like spending 5 Dollars to get to Manhattan to a bestbuy sometimes to buy a blue-ray disc or amazon ( I Buy points from amazon tax free and so that movie is really 20 dollars versus me buying it from amazon buying it for 24 + tax). These
    are for the movies that I would watch over and over again but don't care about special features or having it on a disc

    This app won't let you browse or rent movies from your XBox, you have to rent or buy from a PC, Tablet or Smart Phone in order to watch on your XBox. Yeah, that makes sense...

    Worst thing is that CinemaNow says the XBox 360 isn't a HD device?!?!?! I hope that's just a short term bug. I don't rent or buy SD content and if there isn't going to be HD for the 360, I'll just uninstall the app and continue to buy movies elsewhere.

    It's not looking to me that CinemaNow really wants to succeed on the XBox.
