Don't buy from gamestop

I got my collector edition and it was missing the req code from box .Microsoft wont help even though its their mistake, that it wasn't put in the box. but gamestop is making rebuy the game then when it gets in stock in 1 week they will give me code and
the say disk was boken and give me my money back but for now I just bought the same game 2 times in 1 week

I wouldn't trust that unless it was from a manager. They most certainly have the game in stock, it's one of the biggest releases of the year and games never run out of stock anymore. So the whole wait a week sounds shady. There's also no reason to purchase
the game if they are just going to open a copy and give you the code in store. Why would they need to, they will pop the blister pack take out the code for you and put the disc on the shelf as used for $55 (i have friends who work at GS this is what they do).
If anything I'd say take the disc you have back to the store, tell them it's defective and that you want an even exchange, do not wait a week as 7 days will mean they can refuse you, but take it in tomorrow and do this. Open the new copy in front of them and
check for code. Of it's not there rinse and repeat without leaving the store. Ask for a manager if possible.

They are selling the req bundle for $25 so don't give them any reason to think you are selling the codes. Open them in front of the employee just to make sure you can't be questioned.

 

Yeah ive never heard of this either... Like RemittingFire58 said dont wait a week, cause he is right you will be at youre 7 day limit and can refuse to take it back....
