Don't buy any "buy one, get one free" XBOX Live promotions through Microsoft.

As with anything to do with MS, it seems, there is no intention to do even the basics that they contracted to do, let alone provide any support.

I bought a 3-month XBOX Live subscription with the promise from them that another three months would be added - "Promo code will be sent out 20 June 2018, 09:00AM (AU)."

As expected, nothing. Contacted support, they sent me here. Made a post, it's been deleted.

When you have as bad a reputation as MS for support, you're meant to work on fixing it, not making it worse.

(Also have been promised a refund for my MS Band - nothing ever happened after sending it back, support just lies about it. Current Elite controller is having issues, and that will be a MASSIVE drama to replace, yet again. This is insane.)

Can you please send me my code that I bought when I purchased 3 months of xbox live gold, with the promotion that you would then send a code by 3/15/17 for another 3 months free. I have seen others posting about this, so hopefully you get this resolved
quickly. I purchased this through a promotion through the Xbox one, so it was something Xbox was promoting. Promotion attached showing the promotion! I purchased this during a promotion on the Xbox One on January 30, 2018, so there should be zero issues
with expiration, or else you were falsely advertising this! I expect to receive my code quickly!

Where's my free 3 months of Xbox live?

I chatted with Jeanelle J about this. On February 15 2018 I purchased a 3 month subscription to Xbox live through microsofts website. There was a promotion that you buy 3, get 3 free. I never recieved the code for the free 3 months
of Xbox live. Order #9747702285. Please help me to get my code for 3 months of Xbox live

 

Sorry for your troubles and the runaround, but you really need to contact support again. If they tell you to come back here tell them NO! This is a support issue that only they can assist with. No one here can help, unfortunately. We are just normal users
and a few moderators who apparently are not sure of the forums rules and guidelines, hence your post for help being deleted/locked.

Get back on to them and do not take no for an answer, but be polite about it. They are being lazy if they tell you to come here. Me personally, every time I've contacted support they've been way more than helpful and resolve my issue.

 

Please be adamant with contacting support either through chat support.xbox.com or US number 1-800-469-9269.
