    2 weeks ago I talked with basically ALL tv manufacturers and also (LG support**) which** the NANOCELL85 tv i own, and I was told the engineers for LG and ALL NON OLED tvs MANUFACTURERS have already been CONFIRMED for the DOLBY VISION 120 hz FIRMWARE UPDATE will be available very soon! Im trying to find out when xbox will allow the firmware to be released to the Non (Oled"ers")

    Im just trying to reach out to anyone that can kindly fill the other half in w info on a date? The xb community would greatly appreciate it.

    Samsung makes a great TV but no support for Dolby Vision. Made it easy to buy an LG C7 OLED Dolby Vision 55"

    Dolby vision is not 4k it is a software enhancement for the HDR aspect so not having it is not a major issue, but if you like to have all the green checks you need to look for high end tv's that support Dolby Vision like LG Oleds and Vizio Oleds

    I am a little bit confused. Dolby digital is an audio format, dolby vision is the HDR standard. Before I can give advice I just want to make sure I am advising on the right thing?

    I'd start with a firmware check on your TV. I know dolby vision has some issues at launch on my LG.
