Discus and support Dolby digital 5.1 when ? in XBoX on Consoles to solve the problem; When Will we have the dolby digital for our turtlebeach headset ?     Dolby Digital - Anyone having trouble ? w/update

    I just installed update this morning and still no option for optical Dolby Digital 5.1. Just gives two options under optical, DTS surround sound, and Dolby Digital. Where do you see option for 5.1 Dolby Digital for the XBone? Looks like this still doesn't
    produce 5.1 thru optical for DD.

    5.1 pcm is i believe uncompressed 5.1 which is much better then dolby digital 5.1 The Xbox one doesnt have support for dolby yet, but if your seeing 5.1 PCM thats better anyway.

    5.1 surround question

    Not going to work. The Xbox One currently has zero support for Dolby Digital 5.1/7.1. It only supports Stereo, Uncompressed 5.1/7.1 (which isn't Dolby Digital), and DTS Digital Surround over HDMI. Your headset doesn't accept DTS and optical cannot support
    uncompressed 5.1/7.1 (not enough bandwidth).

    It's best to wait for Dolby Digital support to be added. It's coming.

    No sound from rear and centre speakers, just connected optical to xbox 360, Please help guys :(

    center and rear only comes on when the source is 5.1 if you want rear and center on at all times turn off dolby digital 5.1 in system settings on the xbox360
