    DOLBY ATMOS UPDATE not available through Insider Hub app


    I have an Xbox one S and have the insider hub app and when I click insider content it takes me to insider program but there is no option for downloading any app update that would allow me to get Dolby Atmos decoding. This was one of the main reasons I bought
    an S was to play 4K blu ray and have Dolby Atmos

    Dolby Atmos not working Xbox one X

    At last its fixed!! Finally got atmos coming through the Amp after 5 months!! Must have been an update last night!! Denon 3600h. 11.2 atmos!!!
    But Atmos has always been working between Xbox and AVR, it's just it doesn't show on the screen of the AVR that the input signal is Atmos, based on what Dolby has said, it is cosmetic. And we managed to confirm that.

    I had an update from xbox today as part of the insider preview and I reinstalled the dolby app after it. Dolby atmos now seems to be finally working correctly after nearly a year 🥳🥳my x2600h is now displaying atmos and shows it is receiving atmos instead

    Do you have Dolby Atmos enabled in your Sound Settings? Have you downloaded the Dolby Atmos App from the Microsoft store and collaborated everything? I'm running Atmos currently set up as you described and I get Atmos when available so it isn't an update
    issue. There was an issue with HDR but that was fixed with an update a little while ago.

    download the insider preview hub app. Once your xbox one is added to the preview program, you can update it. Its in beta but the bitstreamING pass-through works for both blu-ray and 4k blu-ray discs. Dolby Atmos audio playback definitely works on both formats
    now. Not sure if DTS:X outputs or not as I haven't tried the one DTS:X movie that I have on the Xbox one.
