Dolby Atmos not working on the Disney plus app on Xbox

I have a Samsung Sound Bar with Dolby Atmos. All works fine on the Xbox One X with Netflix, Amazon Prime, gaming and the Dolby Atmos app. Doesn't work with the Disney Plus app though. Sound isn't coming through the rear speakers and sounds very ordinary.
I go and do the Atmos tests and demos on the Dolby Atmos Xbox app and they work and sound awesome.

I've googled around and apparently lots of people are having the same issue with the app. Hope they fix it soon as I was planning on watching the Star Wars trilogy in 4K and Atmos. I'll wait until they fix it.

    Audio settings

Hello D3mondkid12! Dolby Digital is a system that designates 2.0 up to 5.1 or more channels where the speakers are arranged horizontally (designations include Dolby Digital, Dolby Digital EX, Dolby Digital
Plus) Dolby TrueHD is the next step but the speakers are still arranged horizontally.

Dolby Atmos is a system where speakers are arranged both horizontally and vertically. Examples include 3.1.2, 5.1.2, 5.1.4, 7.1.2, 7.1.4. The first number is the number of horizontal speakers, the second number
is the subwoofer, and the third number is the number of vertical speakers (vertical speakers can be placed on the ceiling or pointing up from the top of the horizontal speakers). Dolby Atmos information can be encoded within a Dolby True HD signal - if you
have a Dolby Atmos Blu-ray and your receiver doesn’t feature Dolby Atmos decoding, it will default to Dolby TrueHD, Hope it helps!

    Dolby atmos question

Issue I'm having (I've posted a question about it) is that discs play Atmos fine. Great sound from rear speakers. No Atmos from apps. Doesn't matter how many settings I mess with on my receiver/soundbar.

Coincidentally, the Access App makes me reset and reconfigure it every time I switch the Xbox setting to DTS/Dolby and Atmos and back again.

Problem started once the app was updated last week.

Xbox one dolby atmos upmixer doesn't do anything

Yo im having the same exact issue and i been scrolling the internet for hours looking for a solution. I thought maybe i had a faulty atmos setup. I have the samsung Q90R and when i play non atmos content, the rears dont play anything. When i switch to
dolby digital the rears turn on. Its weird, is this normal?
