    Dolby Atmos not working with the Sony SA-ST5000


    Hi

    I have connected the Sony ST5000 to the TV. and the Xbox One S to the TV

    I am trying to configure Dolby Atmos settings on the Xbox one S in the Bit stream Format and it switches automatically to DTS bIT STREAM

    The TV and Home theatre supports Dolby Atmos.

    can somebody suggest what is wrong with the Xbox one settings?

    Trying to set up Atmos Soundbar to xbox one s but getting error message

    I recently purchased the Sony HT-ST5000. When I try to select the Dolby Atoms feature in the XBOX settings an error message is telling me that "Your audio Receiver must support Dolby Atmos for home theater to use this setting" which
    i specifically purchase this unit because of Dolby Atoms. What am I doing wrong? Please Help!

    I am having a similar problem, i have the 2018 sony htzf9 soundbar with dolby atmos and dts x, i have tried everything and its still not working, can anyone contribute? Thanks

    Hi RomiDumitru,

    *maybe* this "problem" is exactly how the Dolby Atmos App on Xbox One X works.

    Dolby Atmos native content? perfect! Dolby Atmos playback.

    No Dolby Atmos? the App upmix current audio track to Dolby Atmos (the headphones features works in this way).

    I don't know if is intentional.

    If the game does not support Dolby Atmos, then the audio is normal stereo. Microsoft are working on updating Dolby Atmos, where if the game does not support Dolby, the audio will be converted to simulate Dolby Atmos.

    Ok guys thanks for sharing, the fact is that many games work fine with dolby atmos, so the problem are the games or the app of dolby atmos. AC Odissey,Valhalla and CP2077 for example works fine with Dolby ATMOS audio and ms wireless headset. Gears 5 and Shadow of tomb raider for example work very badly with dolby atmos.

    Can not enable atmos on Xbox One X

    Please just for testing purposes, directly connect the Xbox to the Sony reciever and leave the Caavo out of the equation.

    If the Xbox works with Dolby Atmos without the Caavo switching box, then you need to contact Caavo for questions about Atmos compatibility.

    I don't have a solution for you, unfortunately, but wanted you to know I'm having a very similiar issue. I have a Sony STR-DN1080 receiver and Dolby Atmos was working fine for over a year, then suddenly last weekend (at least that's when I noticed it), no
    more Atmos. I didn't have a freeze, but the Bitstream format reverted to DTS on its own and I get an error that the receiver doesn't support Atmos when I try to go back to the Atmos Bitstream format. I opened a similar thread yesterday:
