    Dolby Atmos not working on Disney+ Xbox One X


    Getting a bit frustrated with this. I cant get Dolby Atmos to work on Disney+. Watching the Star Wars movies back to back which all say Dolby Atmos, but I have no sound coming from my rear speakers. If i change audio settings to Dolby Digital or DTS then
    I get sound coming from the rears but no Dolby Atmos.

    Dolby Atmos works fine for UHD disks, purchased movies, Netflix, and demos on the Dolby Access App (which I have uninstalled and reinstalled).

    Audio settings are bitstream out then Dolby Atmos. My speaker system says it is receiving Dolby Atmos (which it does as soon as Dolby Atmos is selected in audio settings).

    Anybody got a solution or is it just broken?

    Same here, I tested and have Atmos everywhere else but disney plus. Im waiting for the fix so I too can watch starwars in 4k HDR and Atmos.
    +1 -- Xbox One X - no Dolby Atmos on Disney+ content (The Mandolorian for example). Works great through Netflix and other services.

    I have the same problem on Xbox X and XBox One. I’m using the Denon AVR-X 2700H 7.2 channel Dolby Atmos receiver with the XBox X, and the Yamaha RXV-6A 7.2 channel Dolby Atmos receiver with the Xbox One. Both receivers were working normally outputting Atmos on Netflix until November 2022. Disney+ and Amazon Prime play Atmos content on both devices without issue, hence indicating that the problem is not with the 4K TV and 4K projector, nor receivers.

    I have a Samsung Sound Bar with Dolby Atmos. All works fine on the Xbox One X with Netflix, Amazon Prime, gaming and the Dolby Atmos app. Doesn't work with the Disney Plus app though. Sound isn't coming through the rear speakers and sounds very ordinary.
    I go and do the Atmos tests and demos on the Dolby Atmos Xbox app and they work and sound awesome.

    I've googled around and apparently lots of people are having the same issue with the app. Hope they fix it soon as I was planning on watching the Star Wars trilogy in 4K and Atmos. I'll wait until they fix it.

    *maybe* this "problem" is exactly how the Dolby Atmos App on Xbox One X works.

    Dolby Atmos native content? perfect! Dolby Atmos playback.

    No Dolby Atmos? the App upmix current audio track to Dolby Atmos (the headphones features works in this way).

    I don't know if is intentional.

    Hi , same issue on Xbox series x and Netflix app no Dolby Atmos even though shows it on show description, Am using Hdmi lead direct to Samsung Dolby Atmos soundbar , Disney plus works fine

    Netflix was working few weeks ago .. so Microsoft what have you done ?

    Pls fix this ASAP it would be really appreciated
