Dolby atmos not working and receiver showing multi channel in.

Just got my dolby atmos system up and working however games and streaming apps are showing that atmos is available but the xbox is only outputting multi channel. I've seen that this may be due to an update? is there a date that this will be rectified?

Thanks for your suggestion. All my settings are as they should be. Tried resetting both xbox and receiver. Still not working, although UHD blurays show atmos.

I have a similar problem, and I am not part of the Insider program. There are similar posts by others, will appreciate if the team takes a look at this.

I believe this is a known error on insiders builds. If you go to xbox insiders news you should see any issues and potential work arounds. Also check out xboxinsiders on reddit thats the correcr forum for that.

Do you have Dolby Atmos enabled in your Sound Settings? Have you downloaded the Dolby Atmos App from the Microsoft store and collaborated everything? I'm running Atmos currently set up as you described and I get Atmos when available so it isn't an update
issue. There was an issue with HDR but that was fixed with an update a little while ago.

Thanks, I'll take a look. I haven't come across a fix yet. It does seem that many people are experiencing the same issue. Hopefully I'll come across something soon!
