    Hi!

    I'm a beta insider and yesterday I had a problem with atmos output I can't solve.

    Yesterday (and the months before) everything was working fine, but since today I'm having this weird issue that prevents sound to be played from videogames (and just form them). Everything else works fine (youtube, blurays and the atmos demos in the app),
    but when I start a game I don't get sound but I still hear the system sounds (the woosh of the xbox menu and the little boop when you move the selection). I have this issue only on the atmos setting, Dolby digital and DTS works just fine.

    What's strange is that everything was working fine before.

    I tried changing the hdmi cables, doing a hard reset, restarting the console a couple of times changing the sound output to stereo and back to surround but I can't get nothing from the games if I choose to use use ATMOS output.

    Can you help me?

    Forgot to add that I have a SONY tv 4k kd‑55x9000c and the atmos soundbar is the LG sj9

    Dolby atmos question

    My lg Dolby atmos sound system shows everything in Dolby atmos, I know there has been a issues with the app.

    But I agree not every game supports Dolby atmos đź‘Ť

    It's definitely not an AV issue. If you take a minute to type the issue into google search drive you'll find all different dolby atmos setups with different sound systems and Tv's that are very capable of providing dolby atmos and you'll find they all have the same issue with no solution.

    I have the latest LG G1 OLED with the latest SP11RA dolby atmos soundbar with the same issue. the games are unplayable in Dolby atmos due to the delay. I have it changed to 7.1 for gaming, but I purchased the system to play dolby atmos gaming.

    Hi RomiDumitru,

    *maybe* this "problem" is exactly how the Dolby Atmos App on Xbox One X works.

    Dolby Atmos native content? perfect! Dolby Atmos playback.

    No Dolby Atmos? the App upmix current audio track to Dolby Atmos (the headphones features works in this way).

    I don't know if is intentional.

    If the game does not support Dolby Atmos, then the audio is normal stereo. Microsoft are working on updating Dolby Atmos, where if the game does not support Dolby, the audio will be converted to simulate Dolby Atmos.
