    I found another thread about this topic, but it did not have a resolution.

    Can we get an update where I can keep my headphone base plugged in AND still have Atmos through my home theater? Once I plug in my wireless headphone base, I lose Atmos in my home theater. I am forced to unplug the base from the USB in order to use my theater
    Atmos. This is frustrating because i toggle between the two a lot, particularly at night once the family goes to bed.

    If i forget to unplug it, I get calls at work from the family asking what happened and how to set it up again.

    Can you just active it to have both run at the same time?

    Atmos Delay fix (worked for me, at least) and audio detection issues

    Well I have the same issue on Win 11 using the Dolby for HT spatial sound driver and through pretty extensive testing I don't believe that the issue has anything to do with the TV you are using. Since I am on a PC I can run dedicated HDMI from GPU > TV, and GPU > Soundbar, and you STILL get the Atmos lag, even though the audio is not even being passed to the TV. Even if I disconnect the LG C1 I use as my primary, the lag persists. So it isn't the TV. I believe the issue is the Dolby HT driver itself. Because if I use the Dolby Headphone spatial audio the lag doesn't occur, and it's still going to the same old Sammy soundbar, so it can't be the soundbar either. This is a Dolby HT spatial audio driver issue. And considering they are charging us for this, they should do something about it.

    The only advice I can give other gamers atm, is don't bother with Atmos HT for games. Go with 5.1 or the Atmos for headphones driver if you don't want lag.

    Dolby Atmos and Atmos for headphones are two different things. Netflix does not support Atmos for headphones as far as I am aware

    Is your console enrolled in the Insider Preview Program?

    When you go to the settings under Display&Sound, do you have the console set up to also play game sound through the headphones? If so, do you use any spatial surround modes like Windows Sonic or Dolby Atmos for headphones?

    If you set it to Dolby Atmos for Headphones, did you actually purchase Dolby Atmos for headphones? If not, you could only try Dolby Atmos for headphones for two weeks. So check the settings if the headphones work with Stereo or Windows Sonic.

    Is it possible that you set your sound output for headphones to Dolby Atmos and didn't buy the Dolby Atmos App?

    If so, you will be able to try Dolby Atmos through Headphones for 14 days, after which it'll stop working.

    You need to switch to basic Stereo or Windows Sonic if you want spatial 3D sound without paying for Dolby Atmos.
