Discus and support Dolby Atmos for home theatre in XBoX on Consoles to solve the problem; Does the xbox require eARC for Dolby Atmos for home theatre to work?     Does the xbox require eARC for Dolby Atmos for home theatre to work?

    I have the sonos arc and have it plugged into hdmi Arc.

    However i cannot select dolby atmos for home theatre.

    Are you sure you have Dolby Atmos "Home Theatre" applied and not Dolby Atmos "For Headphones"? could be something easily overlooked!

    Its your TV you need to enable the Earc on, since its used as an audio output and the xbox doesn't output audio directly, you'd have to go through your TV, if that makes sense, ill try and find you a support article that might help more, much luck,

    Hi I purchased dolby atmos for headphones from the dolby access app.

    im using a pair of bose quiet comfort 2 headphones which is connected to a bluetooth transmitter which is connected to my home theatre reciever.

    You absolutely should be able to use Dolby Atmos for Home Theatre with a 5.1 or 7.1 setup. If you want to use it on headphones you’ll have to purchase the add on in the app for $14.99

    The main issue is getting streaming services and games that have support for it which not all do.

    Atmos only outputs Multichannel

    Thanks for that suggestion. It seems to still only offer up Multichannel out, no Atmos yet. I switched HDMI Audio to Stereo Compressed, then in Video Fidelity set Overrised to HDMI, then set resolution to 1080p and refresh to 60Hz, and made sure colour
    depth was left at 24-bits as per the suggestion above. Switched the HDMI Audio back to Bitstream and the format back to Dolby Atmos for home theatre, but still no luck on outputting an Atmos signal.
