Dolby Atmos enable for games now available! but.....not working correctly yet

I am in preview ring 4 and today downloaded the Dolby Access app (finally available!) which allowed me to setup bitstream pass thru and Dolby Atmos. To be clear this is for games. The bluray player has had the capability for some time.

My receiver is Atmos enabled and I have front upward firing speakers. What I find interesting is that the receiver isn't switching into Atmos mode. My receiver has an auto surround select. When I use the bluray player it switches in fine. But when I play
overwatch the receiver goes into PCM - which indicates that software is doing the decoding rather than the receiver. Possibly this is the dolby access app running in the background but then what is the point of pass thru if the receiver isn't decoding?? I
can of course manually switch to dolby digital on the receiver but it's not kicking into Atmos mode so something isn't working correctly.

Xbox settings all appear to be correct in that it's bitstream and dolby atmos for home system.

Anybody else having any luck with this?

Dolby atmos not working

Hi everybody, i have an xbox1s, a 55" ks9000 smart tv samsung (with one connect system) and a samsung soundbar hw k950 with dolby atmos. I connected tv and soundbar with hdmi ARC port (as indicated by samsung support), xbox HDMI
IN to one connect system of tv, and then xbox HDMI out to HDMI 1 of soundbar. I downloaded dolby access app from xbox microsoft store and tried to configure it. The first time i was able to see the short videos but without atmos effect. So i searched on forums
the system to enable on xbox dolby atmos, and after half an hour i finally set it on. As i set dolby atmos on system xbox preferences, any audio effect stops. I tried to come back on dolby access app but now i'm not able to watch videos, either the sound obviously.
Have you got any further suggestion to enable dolby atmos on my system? P.S.: I changed HDMI cables 3 times but still not working.

Blu Ray Bitstream Passthrough faulty

I have bitstream out turned on on my setup and I all can get is plain DTS or plain Dolby digital. No True DD or master DTS or Dolby Atmos. Is the Dolby atmos supposed to be working for everyone now?

 

So played with it so more and confirmed what I wrote above. My guess is that overwatch for the console is not yet an Atmos enabled game. When I run the Dolby Atmos test videos from the Dolby app the receiver kicks into Atmos mode no issue and it sounds
freakin' amazing. The object oriented sound space is really quite incredible. However, when I fire up Overwatch, the receiver kicks into PCM mode. Going to research console Atmos enabled games now.....seems to be tough to find any info out there. From
what I can tell Overwatch at this point is only Atmos enabled for the PC.
