    Dolby Atmos disabled when using headset for XBOX Series X


    Dolby Atmos works great for my Series X until I plug in my XBOX Plantronics Headset into the controller. Then it becomes disabled and 7.1PCM becomes the option. Is there anything I can do to have Dolby Atmos while I use my headset for chat?

    I use Dolby Atmos since month with my Headset but for Atmos there was an Code (you normaly have to pay for this). If you download the Dolby Access App out of the X-BOX Store you can see this.

I am linking a few resources concerning Dolby Atmos for Xbox Experience Your Games in Full Audio Immersion with Windows Sonic and Dolby Atmos Spatial Sound - Xbox Wire and Windows Sonic, Dolby Atmos, and DTS Headphone:X headset settings on Xbox | Xbox Support . I usually recommend to players that once they have installed the Atmos app on their console or pc that they use the app to test the differences in sound rather than using a game to test the audio.

    Well yes. The problem is constant. Whenever you’re in a game that uses Dolby atmos or even on Netflix through the series x. It needs a software patch to fix it. Delay is present on all Dolby atmos content
