So i have this message that my tv supports 120 uhd ( series s ) but says i need faster cable while it’s an 8k 48 gbs ethernet.

Is this because series s or because ethernet 2.1?

I use the one one for e-ARC and normally anything that goed in my tv get connected to the soundbar, the xbox sets it to hdmi why? I t’s still EARC jn the TV source.

    No atmos with 4k on

Dolby atmos can only be used withe HDMI through ark . There is a issue with Dolby atmos and xbox ,

Is your tv set to 120hz with 36 bits per pixel.? If it is disable 120hz and set Video fidelity to30 bits or lower ?

Error code 0x80bd0009 when set up DOLBY ATMOS

Finally, I was managed to change to auto-detection and set up 4kUHD in xbox display setings and set up HDR10, without loosing DOLBY Atmos but in result 4kdetails is showing me following:

    (Not all green ticks)

    4k UHD active for 8bits and 50hz.(GREEN)

HDR10 active only for movies and TV (GREEN)

I have checked NETFLIX app via TV samsung and it is showing me HDR,supporting only Dolby digital,Dolby digital+

    -----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

HDR10 is not active in games,

so I have checked the same movie in NETFLIX(via xbox one) is showing only 4KUHD but not HDR content but with DOLBY Atmos Sound (RED),

So not sure, whether is incompability between SONy soundbar passthrough and SAMSUNG TV ,

...or do you think do you have any proposals what to do to make all the green ticks in xbox one S settings without loosing Dolby atmos setup?

Thanks for you advice, I really appreciate.

Xbox One X Dolby Atmos magically stopped working

Sorry to hear it. If you're in the Xbox Insiders Preview Program please try the steps listed below to see if they help

Users who have Dolby Atmos enabled and console display settings set to 120hz with 36 bits per pixel (12-bit) are experiencing loss of Dolby Atmos audio in some situations.

    • Workaround: Disable 120hz or set Video Fidelity to 30 bits per pixel (10-bit) or lower.

Xbox One, Dolby Atmos - 3 months since it worked correctly

As far as my understanding this issue is related to the color bit-depth selected or perhaps the refresh rate when set to 120hz.

Personally, I'm using 1440p, 120hz, and 10-bit. I haven't had any major issues using Dolby Atmos with this setting.

Although, once or twice I've had to re-open the Dolby app to re-apply the settings.

Here is the current known issue and workaround. I hope this helps

I have the new May updates, reinstalled Dolby Access, Netflix, still have Netflix Atmos titles crackling and popping while all other Atmos content (Xbox Movies, games, Atmos demos) work fine.

I have tried every single 10 bit, 8 bit, PC RGB, Standard, 24Hz on or off, setting and there is still a problem.
